Alaskan Sailing Photo Adventure 2025

Dates: August 25 (arrival in Sitka) to September 3 (departure from Sitka). Eight Photography Days.
We will have a small group of six plus your trip leader. We will start our journey in Sitka arriving on August 25th. We will overnight on August 25 and 26 in Sitka.
August 27 and 28 we will be staying in Hoonah. August 29 and 30 we are in Kake. August 31 and Sept 1 in Petersburg. September 2 we overnight in Sitka. We will be sailing up and down the Alaskan coastline photographing eagles and bears and a variety of birds and marine life including otters and whales. When we aren't photographing wildlife, we will have the ability to send up drones and photograph and video the pristine Alaskan landscapes and water ways. We have specifically chosen this area because cruise ships can't fit where we are going and we will be far enough away from larger centres where there will be few other boats in the area. We have hosted many single species trips over the years. From polar bears to pumas, brown bears to eagles. While they are wonderful trips, they are "single species" trips. On those trips if the species you hope to see are there in abundance, then great. If not, we would typically have some slow days. That is just wildlife photography. On this trip however, whether it is landscapes and drone photography, or bears fishing, eagles, whales or otters, there is so much to photograph that we will be kept very busy.
Cost:
Shared: $6800.00 U.S.D. Single: $7400.00. Deposit: $2,000.00 U.S.D. holds your spot. The deposit is non-refundable. If we find someone to take your spot and all of our spots are full we'll be happy to refund your deposit.
Balance is due June 15, 2025
